I’ll be riding cross-country in a week or so, several relatives suggested I carry my handgun. (.38spl) I am 20 years old. I will keep the gun in a saddlebag at all times. Please, no flaming!

Will a Non-moving violation in Fl (passenger seat-belt violation) affect my NY state car insurance? I mean you don’t have to have car insurance to ride in a car and NY will not record this violation so will my insurance still go up?

This auto accident occured in California, I was rear ended. My doctors bills came to over k, what should I expect in the settlement? I know it is 1/3rd, but from friends I’m told it should be K, split between Lawyer, Insurance and myself?
