It idles a little rough but only dies when in gear. I replaced the spark plugs and boots but did not fix the problem. Hoping someone else has had the same issue so i can shorten the list of possibilities. It is a 1998 with a 4.6L I already put fuel system cleaner in.

I don’t have a way to get to it from the bottom. Someone told me it can be accessed from the top. He had done it before. But how? What do I remove to get to it? Complicated?

is there a stamp or something on the motor or what. it has a 2bbl carb. i think is 2.4. not sure. it has 8 spark plugs if that makes a difference. it’s a 4 cylinder with two plugs per cylinder.
